Talcum powder (Johnson & Johnson baby powder) lawsuit
Federal MDL 2738 consolidates claims that J&J talc-based powder products caused ovarian cancer or mesothelioma; J&J announced a proposed resolution of the ovarian cancer claims on July 27, 2026, not yet final.

Federal lawsuits allege Davol/C.R. Bard polypropylene hernia mesh implants (Ventralex, PerFix, 3DMax, Composix and related devices) caused bowel obstruction, mesh migration and other injuries requiring revision surgery; BD announced a settlement of most of the litigation in October 2024.
Active MDLAFFF firefighting foam lawsuit
Federal litigation over PFAS-containing firefighting foam (AFFF); public water-provider claims against 3M and DuPont/Chemours/Corteva concluded with paid settlements, while individual personal-injury claims from firefighters, military personnel, and exposed residents remain active with no global settlement yet.

Lawsuits over the February 2024 ransomware attack on Change Healthcare, which UnitedHealth Group has said affected roughly 190 million people, are consolidated in an active federal MDL with no settlement reached as of September 2026.
SettledAT&T data breach lawsuit
Lawsuits over two separate 2024 AT&T data breaches (a March 2024 dark-web posting of 2019-era customer data and a July 2024 breach of call/text records) were consolidated in MDL No. 3114; a combined class settlement was preliminarily approved, the claim window closed December 18, 2025, and the court has not yet issued final approval.

SettledKia and Hyundai vehicle theft settlement
A settlement for owners of 2011-2022 Kia and Hyundai vehicles built without engine immobilizers, which a viral social-media method made easy to steal. The court approved it on October 1, 2024, but appeals were filed and the administrator states payments cannot be made until they are resolved.
SettledBlue Cross Blue Shield antitrust settlement
Two separate settlements came out of the same antitrust case: $2.67 billion for subscribers and $2.8 billion for healthcare providers. They have different claim deadlines, different websites and different payment timelines, and they are constantly mistaken for each other.
SettledFacebook user privacy settlement
The $725 million settlement over Facebook's sharing of user profile data, including with Cambridge Analytica. Claims closed in 2023, the first round of payments went out from September 2025 and is complete, and the court approved a second distribution on May 6, 2026.
