Reading. Record pages are static. Reading them sends nothing to us beyond an ordinary web request.
Interaction counts. When you tap a main call-to-action button, open the case-review form, or use the alert box, we record the event name, the page, where on the page the control was, the referring site's domain, your browser's user-agent string, and a one-way hash of your connection that changes daily. That record contains nothing that identifies you, and it is kept in a database we control.
Google Analytics. When enabled, this site uses Google Analytics 4 to measure traffic: which pages people arrive on, from where, and which parts of the site they use. It sets its own cookies to tell one visit from the next. Every advertising feature it offers is turned off: Google Signals is disabled, and the site instructs Google to deny advertising storage, ad personalisation and ad-user-data before the script loads. Nothing here builds an advertising audience, and no data is sold or shared for targeted advertising. Google's handling of what it collects is covered by its own privacy policy; you can opt out site-wide with Google's browser add-on. If those advertising settings ever change, this page changes in the same release.
Alerts. If you subscribe, we store your email address, the topic you chose, the page you subscribed from, your user-agent string and the daily-rotating connection hash. We use them to send the alerts you asked for and for nothing else. Every email carries an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing marks the row inactive.
Case-review requests. If you request a case review, we store your name, email, phone and ZIP if given, your answers and notes, the exact consent sentence you accepted, the time, your user-agent string and the connection hash. The consent record is kept because federal law requires proof of express written consent before automated calls or texts. Your details are passed only to a participating law firm or intake partner for the litigation you asked about, and only if one accepts referrals for it. Email hello@mlighthouse.com to have the request deleted.
No advertising or remarketing trackers run on this site: no ad pixels, no retargeting tags, no data brokers. Google Analytics, described above, is the only third-party script, and it runs with its advertising features off.
